Of course, there's also the issue that we have absolutely no clue if this was done at the storyboard level or in animation, nor which animator did it or which director asked them to do so. Or maybe it was in the middle, if one of the Storyboard Revisionists (Aynsley King? Thalia Tomlinson?) snuck it in and it stuck! We'll probably never know.

G. M. Berrow books all seem to be rated "Age Range: 8 - 12 years; Grade Level: 3 - 7." I personally consider them a little below the reading level of your average YA book, but that might not necessarily impact your enjoyment as much as you think? Take a look online, you may be able to find a free first chapter for one or more of the books and get an idea.
