Breitbart.com : Gingrich: Couldn\'t vote for Ron Paul for president

Of course you couldn't vote for him Newt. He's far too conservative for you. Obama wields the type of power you'd love to have for yourself. Ron Paul would overturn the apple cart and reduce the powers unconstitutionally granted to the presidency. "systemic avoidance of reality"...try "systemic support of the constitution"... Newt Gingrich is a statist. Period.

Ah...so muslim extremists attacking us was the cause. OK...so they hit us. Can you possibly think of anything they may have been mad at us for that maybe we (our federal government) did to them in the past? Keep in mind, 15 of the 19 highjackers were Saudis, all of them muslim. Check out http://academic.evergreen.edu/g/grossmaz/interven... Note that nothing really gets going in the middle east until 1953 with this entry: IRAN 1953 Command Operation CIA overthrows democracy, installs Shah. Also, reading the 911 Commission Report and the CIA reports concerning motivation might shine some light on the subject. Of course, that's a whole lot of reading.

Dog for Adoption: This loveable pet is better than a St. Bernard. He saved his previous owner from death. Dog has all shots and is in extremely good health, aside from a slight athlete's foot infection in his mouth. Anti-fungal medication will accompany the animal. All he needs is tender love and care. NOTE: It is recommended that new owner wear steel-toed boots when sleeping.

Breitbart.com : Key US Senate panel puts off Supreme Court vote

"The justices serve lifetime terms as the final arbiters of the US Constitution, setting precedents for all US courts and adjudicating bitter disputes, often in narrow 5-4 rulings that can take a generation to reverse. " What a load of nonsense. If the states who ratified the constitution thought that a branch of the federal government was the "final arbiter" of interpretation, I'm certain they would have never ratified it. This is the foundation of judicial tyranny. This would leave no recourse for states. Proof of this is in the nullification of fugitive slave laws, The Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions in response to the Alien and Sedition Acts, California's ignoring federal drug laws, etc. The federal government, as precedent has shown, will usually rule in favor of itself. Of course the latter is the first position that states should take when dealing with the federal government. By bringing suit in federal court, if ultimately arriving at the supreme court for final decision, this is a de facto agreement of the states to be bound by the decision handed down. This is a relinquishing of state sovereignty in which the states should not participate. They should simply nullify the law as unconstitutional themselves and force the federal government to bring suit. If they are being sued, they aren't necessarily bound by the outcome.

Breitbart.com : US troops won\'t be used to stop illegal immigration: US

Interestingly, the National Guard (established by the Dick Act of 1903), who are supposedly what constitutes the modern-day militia mentioned in the constitution (erroneously, it's all of us) are the only ones called out by the constitution other than the president to "execute the laws of the union". Funny that the federal government purports to be constitutional, all the while operating outside of it. They are specifically given the power to "To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization" in Article I Section 8 yet choose to ignore it. What a crock. "Drug violence has claimed the lives of nearly 23,000 people over the past three years." Here's an idea: Decriminalize or legalize drugs, let folks make/grow their their own, tax them, whatever. If there's no risk involved, there's no violence involved in trafficking, ergo, no big money, the problem solves itself. Then you just prosecute people for the criminal acts (those that have a victim, whether person or private property) who do stupid stuff when messed up on them...just like alcohol. The "War on Drugs" is a complete failure and does nothing to further the cause of liberty. Nevermind. Let's just keep arresting the guys who have less than an ounce on their person while the murders continue. Completely asinine.

I'm so glad folks are concentrating on this missile shield, which should have never been in the first place, rather than watching their prosperity being stolen out from under them by this criminal central government. We should mind more what's being done here to undermine our personal and economic liberties rather than arguing over, what appears to be a completely impotent missile shield which isn't even designed to enhance the security of our own nation. You can't take care of your own business if you're always trying to take care of someone else's.

Kit Up! : Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Hold Your Breath

I'm guessing this was intended to be in response to the guy before me, rather than me. I'd like to respond though. "Three times in the Bible the warning is giving to not remove anything, or add anything from this Book." While I am Christian and use the Bible for guidance, I'd like to point out that "This Book" wasn't even a book before the 4th century. Sure the Pentateuch (Book of Moses) was, but the "Holy Bible" in Its present form was not. The first Council of Nicaea convened in the 4th century to put the Bible into what we have today with the Old and New Testaments. While I believe the books are divinely inspired, you must remember that this council (of MEN) were the ones who decided what went in and what didn't. So to assume that these MEN were infallible is to put more faith in the MEN that assembled the manuscript than the Triune God we as Christians worship. Who's to say they didn't get it wrong? Not me...only God can. So I put more trust in what He has written on my heart than the manuscript assembled by mere MEN. For all the folks here who claim to be Christians, might I remind you of the kind of folks Jesus often hung out with. Jesus fulfilled the law. He commanded us to "love one another". I believe Paul wrote that we as Christians should not sit in judgment of non-believers. The question is what constitutes a non-believer? Someone who doesn't comply with the Old Testament, or someone, sinner or saint, who places their trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? Christians are not without sin, and we know it.

Breitbart.com : Dollar facing \'power-shift\': analysts

Yes sir. Even aside from those price controls, that's basically what the Federal Reserve does is fix prices, and tries to reach "maximum" employment, by varying interest rates and money supply. Because of this "central economic planning", there is no free-market, nor has there been in the past century; if it were, the market would set interest rates, and honest money would be tied to something tangible of real value. "Money" produced by fiat is simply fuel for the government fires. The real fraud is that congress outsourced the monetary system to the Fed, they print/digitize the money, use it to buy treasury debt (monetization of debt) to pay for unconstitutional programs when they don't collect enough taxes, and then our income taxes pay interest on this "money" back to that bank. Something's wrong here..... I have read some analyses on the steady uptick in the market and one interesting thing to note is, if you price the market in terms of gold, the market really hasn't gone up at all. I believe gold is outperforming by 2% or so. The primary driver of gold prices is the weakening of the dollar. Sure there's some speculation and stories abroad about reserve currency status, but the proof is the increase in money supply by 70% in just a couple of weeks last fall. All it does is rob those of us who are responsible enough to save a little.

I'm a republican and I'm a Christian. I believe in maximum individual liberty...freedom from control. The only limit to true liberty is to not infringe upon the liberties of others. Don't step on my liberty, I won't step on yours. It's that simple. If what someone else is doing ain't hurting you, what do you care? Most folks who really give a crap about preventing gays from being equals in society have internal issues of their own. Just because I like female bits and pieces don't mean I should deny homosexuals their rights. I served with several I knew were gay, and was friends with them. They're just people. They just have different preference in personal relationships is all. Let gays serve openly. Let gays marry. Really, who the hell is it hurting? They deserve to be equally as miserable as most married heterosexual couples (I happen to be happy in mine). No special privileges (like the hate crimes legislation that is going through now), but equal protection of the law.
