Hi Mark, The expected shortcut wouldn't have taken a lot of time to check, since we were near, uhm, civilization :D And we'd only take real unchartered shortcuts if we know we'll have enough time (daylight) to go back and home in the event the shortcut didn't go as planned. Inline Motors can do 4x4 modifications and repairs. They also usually source out the parts you need to take the burden off your shoulders. Call Benson (Inline Motors owner) at 0905-250-1256.

Alternatively, Filmar Auto Trends along Katipunan Ave. is also a shop most of the Vitara Club of the Philippines members go to. The shop is just between UCPB and the Blue Ridge gate along Katipunan.
