Big Hollywood : Sacha Baron Cohen, the Oscars and the Death of Propriety

Propriety. Would that be the same propriety that Hollywood puts into all it's movies? The awards are a joke and should be treated as such.

How fortunate that Houston died just in time for the Grammy's to exploit it.

You do understand when they said "no blood for oil" they really meant "no American blood for oil", right? Spilling everyone else's blood is just fine, apparently.

GreyWardens.Com - Dragon Age™ Origins Blog - News, Infos, Screenshots, Downloads, Walkthrough : Opinion: Warden Addiction

There's not one plot in DA2 that couldn't have been written to have the Warden as the protagonist. I think it's obvious that Bioware just wanted to get a sequel to market as fast as they could and that meant scratching everything you built, character wise, in the previous game. The game is in a fantasy setting. There are limitless ways to get the Warden anywhere or even anywhen in Thedas. I'm also sure that the only threat to the Wardens are not darkspawn. Besides, the Wardens have never had any problem injecting themselves into the politics of a region when it suits their purposes.

Big Hollywood : Trailer Talk: 'John Carter of Mars' Is No 'Prince of Persia'

From what I've read, the anime shared nothing more than the Lensman and character names from the books. Otherwise, it told a completely different story and isn't worth the bother if you're looking for an authentic Lensman story.

What I'd really like to see is a series of faithful movie adaptations of the Lensman series by E.E. "Doc" Smith.

GreyWardens.Com - Dragon Age™ Origins Blog - News, Infos, Screenshots, Downloads, Walkthrough : Opinion: Your Origins Choices Don't Matter, Either

The problem lies in the perception of what's happening in the game. In DAO you don't feel funneled to a particular ending. In DA2 it's obvious you are and after a couple of playthroughs you realize the only real difference is the class you choose, and that hardly matters, either. Part of the difference is DAO's race options at the beginning of the game which is also splintered off into gender options which define the feeling for the character before you even get to the beginning of the story. Seven origins before you even get to the main plot. Who you have in battle with you in the end story of DAO could be dwarves, golems, werewolves, dalish elves, templars or mages. You compare that to the three NPCs you choose at the end of DA2? Especially when each of those choices above can lead to completely different ways you play the end game. As opposed to DA2 where whichever NPC you choose, you will play the same way. DAO takes at least twice as long to finish as DA2 and that's without the several different beginnings you can play in DAO to start the story. That's just a few of the problems with the difference between how stories play out to the end. I'm not even comparing the ability to customize NPCs between the games, which there is none in DA2. No, your argument is not at all convincing that the two games are comparable in how the story unfolds. DAO is an excellent example of how to put an intriguing story into an RPG format and DA2 is an excellent example of how not to follow up on that original idea.
