Kicking has been a problem and cost (or almost cost) too many games. SS needs to grow a pair and find a Special Teams coach that can fix the problem.

Thanks I guess that answers for March Madness, but what about the Sunbelt playoffs? It just seems to me that if we didn't get to play for the SB title we wouldn't go to MM anyway. I'm not disagreeing just wondering what affect it really had in BB.

I know we had the NCAA Academic Progress Rate ban but since we moved up and into the Sunbelt wouldn't we have been ineligible anyway like we were in football or is basketball a totally different set of rules?

I think you said, some they had a sour taste in their mouth for several reason, the team didn't start with a bang, and we had some bad game days (thanksgiving). But most of all we just didn't have any of those great spring days. Even the days that ended up being good wasn't really forecasted that way. Either you're going h3ll or high water or you're going only if the weather is good. A lot of people only plan on coming if the weather report early in the week is great.

I think the reason for lower attendance over all for the FBS is simple... there are just more smaller schools that moved up. We may have (or will help)move the average up, UNCC would have lowered it. I don't think anyone is giving up a tailgate or game day because it's on TV. That was kind of proved with the NFL which is why they don't blackout like they use to.

They should build a Jerry Moore statue right where you walk in the stadium. Ask former students and players for a $100 - $200 k and you'll have it almost overnight. Also name the plaza for him too.

Also now that CornCobb Charlie is gone, I wish we could retire #14 it's long over due, but with these lamebrains letting Cox use it I don't know how they would do it. It should be retired for both of them!

When will the damage from Chuck Cobb end?
