Big Journalism : Van Jones' Color of Change Fails To Oust Breitbart From Huffpo; Huffpo Defends UPDATE: HU

Comment count per blog is determined by many factors including: Blog content, posting time/date, competing stories, placement on website, etc. The kind of nonsense you serve up always gets you several replies. Nearly 1 or 2 % of the number of comments Mr. Breitbart will receive. You should be proud of your accomplishments.

Big Journalism : Things You Won't See In MSM: Monday Edition

"Perhaps not with the same crazed slant put on them here. " Funny you should mention that. If one TEA Party sign calls for violence, the entire movement is painted as violent. If one Portland marcher sign has a smiley face (and the rest call for violence), the entire movement is painted as peaceful. All fair and balanced in coverage. right. Move along.

Amen. I have not attended any TEA Party events. But I am more inclined to do so. They certainly stand for what I believe in.

Big Journalism : NBC’s Mitchell Regurgitates Gaddafi Lies

I googled 'Gaddafi daughter killed' and found many, many links that say the same thing. Some will include 'alleged' or 'purported', most don't. So where is the proof one way or another? I don't care if she was or wasn't. I don't blame Reagan at all for calling the airstrike. It doesn't matter if she was his daughter or not. It also doesn't matter if the numbers differ from one news org. to another. That is pretty typical - especially since news from that region rarely came through reliable people. I don't much like Andrea Mitchell for a number of reasons. But I wouldn't include this as one of them.

Big Journalism : Enough, Chris Matthews. Stop Lying About Michele Bachmann's Iowa Speech

Chris Matthews should go the way of Paul Krugman. Little men with little minds. They aren't interested in facts. Their interest is in getting Americans to rely on others; instead of allowing each of us to think for ourselves. The sooner we dismiss Chris and Paul, the sooner we can move forward toward improving our nation.

Paul Krugman is a small, unimportant man. The sooner we and the rest of the media turn our backs on him, the better. As for the shooter, we should do our best to not speak or write his name. No reason to give him any more air time.

Big Journalism : Cue Slapfight: CNN Partners With Tea Party Express For Presidential Debates

The TEA party needs to support CNN and any media outlet that at least appears to be trying to cover the news openly. Although the TPE might not be the best representative and CNN has had a more recent history of bias; neither should be held against them forever. It is our duty to have an open hand, ready to extend forgiveness. It is also our duty to keep an open eye and even be skeptical.

I watched the fab five for several minutes after Rand Paul's speech. It was a sad spectacle. They could not bring themselves to say one kind word. No Congratulations to Rand. Nothing. Nothing about his acceptance speech. All they could come up with was…. Ewww wait until he gets in office and is faced with voting on the debt ceiling. Ewwww… he’s going to see how Washington really works. I hope MSNBC can stay afloat. The can give Comedy Central a run for it’s money.

Big Journalism : Will Journalists Condemn the Verbal Flogging of Fox News Reporter by Democrat Leader?

You are a hoot. You draw a parallel between Obama/Ayers to be like a gunmen who claimed he listened to Glenn Beck. Yep, apples to apples there. sarc. The reason for this story, is a Politican is dressing down a reporter because of who he works for, not for anything the reporter did. You've gone off the deep end by comparing how stations fight eachother for business. This has nothing to do with that. Sachin Chheda is off-base to go after the reporter. And all news organizations should stand against that.

TrooBloo99, You are correct. And I'm not sure why so many people have given this comment the thumbs down. Yes, there are plenty of good reasons the divide is widening and much of the blame can be placed squarely at our current President's feet. And the LSM has fed it, and feeds off it. But I believe MOST of the people on the fringe are either politicans or journalists. MOST of the general public would prefer honest, thoughtful discussions. It will take a long time to weed out the corrupt politicians and the corruption in the media. Let's pray that Nov 2nd marks the beginning of the end to the Progressive movement.

"Logic dictates that if the American people disagree with your egregious spending and recklessness with other economic issues, they’ll likely demonstrate that at the polls come November." Hell hath no fury like....? Nice post. But don't expect Logic to play a part in any discussion with a Liberal. Especially now when they have nothing to stand on. The Federal Government has been off-course for quite some time. It's high-time to right the ship.
