How do you propose to deal with Irish citizens who renounce their British citizenship who are resident (for generations) in Northern Ireland? Make them wear a shamrock on their shoulder? Deport them?

I think all IRA/loyalist terrorists have faced the courts unlike British Army who committed atrocities in Northern Ireland. To avail of early release they had to have served a minimum of 2 years. I think everyone would live with convictions of British Security forces and 2 year prison sentence. I think they would actually be happy with a conviction!

Its efficiency is related to having vaccine and up to now its the difficult to roll out Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The doubts over the efficacy of the AZ vaccine are factual. 95% efficacy for Pfizer/Moderna, 57% for AZ. Of course everyone wants the best vaccine to be used on our frontliners and vulnerable.

''2.Remove dual passports for the Irish you are either one of the other''.
Removing Irish passports from Irish citizens isn't a competence of the British Government.

4.Time to review the GFA as it is one-sided to the IRA either all sides get a free pass or none
The Americans would love that one! What do you mean all sides? Don't you know that the DUP have never supported the GFA anyway, but have had to live with it.

How is it such an historic cock-up. The medical advice is not to give the Astra-Zeneca vaccine to the over 70s (which seems to be the advice of quite a few countries around Europe, although the EMA says the vaccine is safe). The vaccination plan has to change anyway.

Who said France has a problem? Its the very densely, industrialised countries that have that problem like Germany and England. CAP was designed to feed those populations cheaply. If there were not those subsidies for example, Northern Ireland farmers would not be able to produce milk as at present it costs about 5 cent more to produce a pint of milk than they get for it. Thats where CAP comes in - ensures that farmers are still there to provide a pint of milk for the working classes. Without CAP, the average farm income in NI would be about £8,000 per annum. The average farm income in Republic of Ireland is about £24,000. The average income of a beef farmer in Ireland (most of which is exported to the UK) was €13,893 last year.
I haven't seen much evidence of the UK caring for NI either, so I don't know why Franco-German axis should care.

Are you still living in the 70s? What people want is a secure food supply. Just listen to how Northern Ireland is freaking out over empty supermarket shelves at the moment and they are a long way from having food shortages.

From what I recall, one of the major stumbling blocks to a trade deal with India was they wanted more access to working visas and India retaining very high tariffs on Whiskey (both of these items were a huge problem for the UK who were the very reason the EU's negotiations didn't progress further).

I'd say that European taxpayers are anxious to have a safe and secure supply of food having suffered close to starvation during and after WWII. They probably also realise that England is rather unique in its land ownership patterns (large estates) which is not common in Europe where two-thirds of farms are less than 5 ha in size. The average size of a farm in France is around 135 acres, Germany 60.5 ha, Ireland 75 acres. Most of these farmers are reliant on off-farm occupation (either wife working) or part time employment to keep the show on the road.

Two of the KEY people. I suggest you have a look at who funds the Jenner Institute i.e., European Commission, European Vaccines Inititate, Gates Foundation, US National Institutes of Health, etc. etc. https://www.jenner.ac.uk/about/funders-partners Nice to see the UK Dept of Health in there as well!
I said don't expect these former colonies to be grateful for the gifting of British left over vaccines. Hopefully, they will do a bit better than that.

I think Ireland is ok for vaccines as it has on order 14 million doses (for a population of about 5 million). The only issue is how quickly the vaccine manufacturers can deliver them. Long term, the Johnson & Johnson looks like the best bet as it is a one dose vaccine, has 66% efficacy and doesn't have rollout challenges like the Pfizer one.
