Barnes and Noble used to have a tween/teen-oriented entertainment shoot-off site of Sparknotes called Sparklife and it was my jam c. 2008-10, maybe? (Hi, I'm a Young'n)

There was one writer who did Twilight recaps (scathing, scorching ones, of course) accompanied with terrible Paint illustrations, if memory serves. There was also an advice column that definitely had terrible Paint illustrations. People called themselves "Sparklers" and there was a fairly tight-knit commenting community. One of my closest irl friends and I somehow discovered during these years that we were both "sparklers" and it felt like FATE.

I'm here for empathizing/mutual complaining.

I had a phone interview this morning, so naturally I woke up with the worst sore throat of my life. Then I tried to follow-up on an application i sent in for a job that I would love and think I'm well qualified, but the hiring manager didn't answer :(
