I laughed when you mentioned the Republicans being in the cheap seats. I was 'way up' and everyone around me agreed with Ann. The thunderous BOOS came from down below. The jokes were pretty much the same- the written and the 'ad libbed' the major differences were on Monday the first topic was Stem Cell research to which Ann used some brilliant verbal judo on Bill. Bill stated that Nancy Reagan was for embryonic research and Ann said, "Liberals mocked her for using Astrology and now you see her as a seer of technology!" To which Bill's only reply was, 'Touche." The second big difference was Bill used that "rectum facts" line and Ann didn't react as loudly as she did in Chicago. I'm sure he used it in Boston and she got fed up after three nights. And since it was the last night it seems Bill gave in and quit obviously fatigued from debating the issues for three nights straight. But it isn't bias on your part when you have a lawyer who is also a best selling author debate a stand up comic who, unfortunately, is the best the left has to offer.
