All twelve could have vaginas but unless you're from a state or a district with an appointee, you'd still have no voice or representation in the debate.

Big Government : Bachmann Wins Iowa Straw Poll; Paul Close Second

Not really. Had Paul come in first, I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised. His supporters are very... Enthusiastic and passionate. They perform well for him in these kinds of polls.

Big Government : Why I'm Still Glad John McCain Lost in 2008

Singling out Angle and O'Donnell was weird, given the sheer number of wins across the country. I think McCain's still mad that he had to blow through $25 million to defend his seat last round.

Big Hollywood : Will 'Ultraviolet' Save the Home Video Market? I Doubt It.

You're right about personal finances. Millions are in a position where basic cable programming and internet access are now luxuries. And if Hollywood thinks I'm spending my increasingly worthless $15 on one of their mediocre movies instead of a can of mediocre coffee, they're nuts. And along those lines, I find it a little funny that Hollywood liberals are worried about sales of their products when they've been telling us how bad we all are for being consumers. I guess they meant that aside from THEIR product, we consume too much. As for the fare on TV, I haven't found a lot in the way of dramas that I want to keep going back to. As soon as a character launches into a monologue that promotes an agenda, I'm done with the show. I'm not interested in being lectured to. There are a few that are good and stay away from that, but not many that stick to pure entertainment.
