My sis. is in a similar situation. she swore into the national gaurd in december 2008, and she is concerned that if injured, she will have to pay for supporting our country, and risking her life.
IT is rediculous, is it not, that we have a need for this blog site? Dont get me wrong, it is compleatly necessary, but it is outragous that it is! WE have a bill of Rights, GARUNTEED in those are the INALIENABLE RIGHTS of life liberty and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPIENESS. Maby no one else agree, but inalienable meens unable to take away, and to me, when the government steps in and tells me i have topend my money on this, or that, it takes away from my standard of living. when they raise taxes, and we have less money to use for ourselves, we can afford say, such a big house, going to the movies with a friend, and it would be heart breaking to me to have to say no (in six years when i am 21) to my childeren when they ask me to buy ice cream, because we cant afford it, because the government took to much money in taxes to support things like ACORN, and producing better blueberries in another state. (both mentioned in stimulous pakage and supported with obscean amounts of money). They are taking away my right to, the pursuit of happieness.
Taking A Stand
Glen Beck has asked us to lead, and take iniciative by doing something to start standing for our values and principals. I have taken his words to heart, and i started a blog. My self being fourteen, i decided it would be cool to have a site for teens to talk together, so that is what i did. My site is

How do you not have 2 parties? we have two different beleif systems and to greatly verrying ideas in how this counrty should be run. in a perfect world, yes, there would be no need for 2 parties, but even i at 14 know this world is far from perfect. dont mistake my youth for ignorance. i know what i'm talking about, and what you are thinking of is impossible.

no, too big a change all at once, what we need is people to start taking the elections seriously. too many people who have no idea what the people running for office are planning to do are voting, and giving votes that really shouldent be cast. maby in schools in government class (required in 12th grade at my high school) they should show debates between current running officials.
i agree, we have to keep voting, (though i am 2 young at 14) but i am tired of voting for the lesser of 2 evils. i want someone who i want to win. Romney was the one i wanted for this ellection, because he understands the importance of the constitution. that is who we need to run, is the one who will die to keep by the constitution. we need to raise our voices, though we may not be enough in #. we need to start to change liberals. the ones who dont care and/or the liberals who should be conservitives, (like a certain world geography teacher i know) and make them see our point. remember, that they can be smart too, and applie logic, because when you use logic, conservitism will ALWAYS win.
my dad would be great at this, though he wont admit it. we are having a meeting to discuss our counrties well being, i encourrage others to do the same
