Breitbart.com : Sarkozy says burqas are \'not welcome\' in France

I too applaud Msr. Sarkozy. The civilized countries of the world tolerate all religions. However, we all live in a post 9-11 era. I tend to view this as a security issue first and foremost. I also think he is very wise in setting these bans to ensure his countrymens safety. Practice your religion but we cannot allow people to walk around unidentifiable. I live in NYC and I too will get off the train if I can't identify you or if I feel I'm in danger. Sorry, I call this common sense, street smarts and survival of the fittest. I refuse to put myself in danger. My government cannot or will not ban burqus - so I avoid the person. God helps those who help themselves.
