Spot on. Wealthy Wets who when push came to shove showed their true colours and voted with Lab/LD/SNP and told people to vote for them as did Hezza/Ken/SDP Anna et al.

Lewis has remained a staunch Conservative, throughout the Cameroon decade when our Party leadership of DC/GO & CCHQ were simply wealthy liberals.

Votes on committees aren't whipped, so the man has done nothing wrong.

But then the Party was always partial, in that Nadine lost the Whip for going in the jungle, when Alan Duncan didn't despite missing a 3 line Whip vote.

A quick search reveals HMRC had to wind-up a Company he was Director of (Charterhouse) for non-payment of VAT.

"Unjustified?" Goodman appears to have moved into stand-up comedy, along with the failed ex organiser of ConHome who had to resign after a scandal, just as Grayling did.

Grayling unlawfully doubled the qual period from 1 to 2 years for Employment Tribunals without a vote. That was overruled by the High Court.

His debacles at the DWP, MoJ cost £300m and which all had to be reversed incl his book banning.

Then there's his Transport woes including awarding a contract to a firm with no ships.

Quite apart from his gay B&B and Wire foot-in-mouth comments.

As Portillo said: Grayling has to be the worst ever Cons Cabinet minister. He couldn't even hack it as Leader of the House. No wonder we only had 1 Cllr in his seat. Wasn't his Assoc put into special measures under DC, as they wanted rid of him?
