But that is not true. The other route is to fight what is a blatant attempt at annexation on the part of the EU - for which the Irish Nationalist cause is simply a pretext.

How odd. We must be bound up within the political structures of the EU in order to trade with "our largest market". Yet the rest of the world apparently has so little trouble dealing with the EU that its membership provides fantastic "global opportunities" for us.

Latvia would do well to remember whose armed forces and lives are on the line to stop the Russian tanks steamrolling over it - in theory, anyway.

It is rather odd how it is apparently quite in order for the EU leaders to be insulting and belligerent towards the UK because it has an invoked a legal right, yet the UK must be subservient and is not allowed to be robust in response.
