I like you and millions of others would love to have a third party but it has been made almost imposible to do by the other two parties who have passed legislation making it this way."We the people" need to adopt some of LP platform as well as the 9 principals and 12 values in our movement to truly make change.
I'm absolutly not pannicing just opened up my soul in an effort to show that if others are feeling the same way their not alone. Already in the process of starting a local group, connecting all churches and civic associations in the area together. I'm using my experience of being President of a civic association we formed as a community 7 or 8 years ago to do so. I completly agree with you about growing what were doing at the local level and that we will end up victorious with our efforts!
I like the cable tv ad and that there are others wanting to move past just venting and come up with a plan of action.

Fellow 9-12ers I agonize like many of you over the difficulties in realizing our efforts to come together as one, not in our core beliefs but rather in how to singly unite and refute something far more dangerous taking place other than simple differences in ideologies. Every part of my being has been telling me for some time now that we are headed for a state of peril in which we have not experienced in our lifetimes. I know I’m not alone in these beliefs. If nothing else, history should have taught us we’re being led to a place that we must resist from being taken. My struggle does not involve fearing those we oppose or the personal sacrifices we must make in order quash the efforts of the few which will devastate the many. My struggle is how to peacefully unite in numbers that cannot be denied. Speaking with one common voice having one platform that uses methods ensuring we are not portrayed as radicals in order to bring others on board who have not yet grasped where we are headed, ultimately guaranteeing us victory.
We need a new contract with America, one that spells out what we want our elected officals to vote for or against on our behalf, from term limits to educational reform. The contract would also have a place they would have to list out all who are donating to their campaigns. If they refuse to sign the contract or list all their donators, we do everything we can to get them thrown out of office and support an opposing candidate. Feedback please!
Get ready for the new mantra from the left about the tea parties, as posted above "The thing that bewilders me is this president just cut taxes for 95 percent of the American people" Not only did Axlerod say this but that makes 3 on the left to say the samething today alone. Yea that $13 a week put me into another tax braket. We're just a bunch of idiots who understand that someone is going to have to pay for the out of control spending. Hey Axelrod your not talking to the uneducated goofs on the left who voted for your candidate who all think the Government is an unchecked cash machine!
