Why is it so hard for a student to leave his program? Remember Josh Smith Darrell Scott and now look at Sumler. I think that is kinda messed up for a coach to try to make a kids life as hard as possible. What if CU told hawk which job he could or could not take. Or told him he would have to pay back a portion of his Sallery if he decided to leave and coach else where? Would that be illegal? The word spreads about someone who treats his players like this and it isnt good for future recruiting. Hawk grow up!

Solid foundation my rear end. Hawk came in with a solid foundation but is leaving behind a 3-9 team 2-20 on the road that doesnt even know what it feels like to have sucess at this level. That doesnt even know what it takes to win in the Big 12. The next coach better be ready to clean up this program and not just pretend too.

Hawk is a great guy thats why all of his recruits are jumping ship. Thats it he is just too good of a guy. It all makes sense now.

reallifeshocker I think you got it backwards. Every student has to pass the minimum qualifications of course completion and SAT or ACT scores to even be admitted to a University yes that’s including student athletes. In the 60's probably not.

He looks like he knows he is getting canned. He knows he has failed miserably. He looks like he is holding in a lot of emotion. His face is all wrinkled up like a shar pei.. But amazingly the same ol BS comes still comes pouring out of his mouth. Still no accountability, still no responsibility. Instead of teaching just teaching these qualities he should have tried practicing these qualities. I see how a team doesn’t respond to a guy like that. Watch out Bohne when you fire him he might kick your ass. Maybe that’s what taking Bohne so long he is scared of getting his ass kicked. LOL!__Also I disagree doing things the right way results in positives. He must not have been doing everything right my friends. If he was the place would not be crumbling beneath his feet. The proof is in the pudding. So whomever thinks that all successful college football programs are successful because they do things wrong. SLAP YOURSELF! This isn’t the 60’s the NCAA has very strict rules. __

I dont ever want to see this guys name mentioned in the same sentence as Jerry RIce. Jerry Rice was a 6 foot 3 burner that could stretch the field and blow by Db's. Ive also watched Wes Welker and Brandon Stokley play in person actually. These guys are so much faster quicker better route runners then Scotty. These guys wow you. Scotty never gave me that wow factor. He may have the it factor according to keiseu but no wow factor. Lets be honest here he caught a lot of balls because his best friend threw it to him nearly every play. Nothing against him he just isnt a play maker. Good player though seems like a great guy. I wish him the best.
