Here's a link that gives a little reasoning to my initial outrage. I see now that it's not what he did, but that he did it with no reason other than to protect his money, which of course is his right. I guess I got annoyed that someone of his fame couldn't come out and say he did it because he doesn't agree with how tax is used and wasted. But why should he, it's not for me to say what he should believe in. I guess I was hoping for more...

I'm pleased you're pleased. You did make me re-think. Which can be almost impossible! I agree, the media in my opinion protects itself, shareholders, and then possibly it's political interests. They're not interested in you, I, or the truth. Keep your eye on your website stats, if Zemanta are picking you up it's likely your links are used elsewhere and increasing your visits. I agree it makes it a little more worthwhile when someone responds positively (or at all) to a blog so don't give up on it. All I do at the moment is find stories that I feel mainstream hide away and republish so I can build up a decent research database. Your comment came just at the right time. I'd slipped back into my judgmental self and needed a reminder who the real problem is. You can tell from the stuff I post I sway towards areas where one gets branded a nut but it's getting easier to stick your head up nowadays. I might grab a paragraph or two from your site (linking back to full story) now and then, if you don't mind. :)

Cheers... but I didn't write it. Posted it for comment only. I must say what he did, pissed me off at first. But on examination, I understood it only did this because I wasn't in his position to do the same. I've now visited your blog (the link was a zemanta generated one) and I have to agree with you. He did nothing illegal. One could argue it's a moral thing when others without his wealth may pay more; but even then it depends where you stand. (It would still smack of jealousy) So am I convinced... Yes! Deep down from the word go I knew he had every right and I too would no doubt do the same. As for tax being a moral virtue - nope - I don't hold with that one. I know it's mostly wasted away on debt and wars. We probably agree on more than we disagree on : ) Thanks for the comment.

It will be the death of youtube and other similar services. This is an obvious attempt of curtailing free speech and nothing to do with copyright. Mainstream media is all but dead in the water, many of there videos and links back to there own sites come directly from bloggers. They'd suffer just as much from this madness. :@

Howard, can see your point but I doubt it's so simple. Yes many people would be unsuitable for gun ownership - trouble is many of them have them already. JT. Agree, but I trust neither films nor news, my views have come from normal people both for and against gun in the USA - however, I sit on the fence, not because it's easy but I can see it from many points of view - I guess in my case I should err on the side of caution until my views land on one side or the other - so arming the UK wouldn't be straight forward and could easily be a step in the wrong direction. In an ideal world I'd like to see it but where they where only used in life or death situations - I know that is probably living in fairy land! Sid. At this time I must say I tend to agree with you. Many of our youth (I'm 44) seem to me to be far more agressive and turn to violence than when I was in my 20's - Females too. Responsible is the key word here and if it was ever to work we need to make ourselves as a nation, more responsible - alas we're in a nany state and becoming dependant on the state is (in my view) exactly where they want us. Thanks for the input guys, realy appreciate it - sorry for any typos.
