That seems to be what his job will be tomorrow. The guy has a big frame, if he wants to stay with the Rangers for more than just a taste he'll bang some bodies. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does.

The Garden went from six feet under to rockin' over the course of that game, I wish I could've been there. The Coyotes really aren't a bad team, w/ some good goaltending they can be dangerous

I think that with Callahan out, Torts might move Boyle into that role. it seems like something obvious that he should try. Boyle has a scoring touch this year and he has a huge frame that could be awfully hard for defenseman to handle. That's definitely something I'd like to see happen.

30 goal guys are very hard to find. I agree, may be best to put Gabby by himself. As far as complimenting him, its more related to the power play. Defenses can key in on gaborik and it would be good if they could open up some space.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

I could've been mores specific, by secondary scoring im alluding to a guy who can pot thirty goals. They don't have a scoring threat than can compliment Gabby nor open up space for him.

I'm surprised that they don't. I know players have had the equipment guys put extra padding on their skates in the past. Its really something those guys should think about. Callahan does everything for the team: blocks shots, kills penalties, plays the power play and penalty kill. Aside from L!@#$%6^%%$ he's the worst guy for them to lose

Rami good to hear from you. It's been awhile. Keep watching this year, good things are happening with the Rangers. Lauri Korpikoski is having himself a breakout season with the Coyotes. 14 points in 28 game so far. Looks like he's finally putting it together in the NHL.

great post Suit its funny, puck daddy did a whole breakdown of the penguins and penalties trying to look into a bias. it was like frickin statistics 101 - talking about standard deviation and confidence intervals. all those guys had to do was check the frickin penalty records. nice work.

i'm sure tomorrow night it will be more of the same. obscure penalties called on the rangers while the penguins have blatant penalties left uncalled. why should anyone expect any different? you may or may not have saw this: last few minutes of the flyers game tonight w/ pens losing 3-2, powe crashes the net and gets called for a penalty. orpik come barreling through w/ a charge and pops power way after the whistle and only powe finds his way to the box. unreal.
