Big Government : Wis. GOP Strips Public Workers' Bargaining Rights

Whaaa!! boo hoo. wake up zombie, public sector unions are a contradiction...they don't fight for the middle class they fight against it always trying to squeeze more out of the taxpayer(the real middle class) for govt employees that are already getting more than their jobs are worth. As for the rich, explain to me why you think that because they have more money than you they should have to pay a higher tax rate? How is that representative of the "equality" that tards like you want for everyone? They already pay close to 50% of all tax revenue. Equality of opportunity not results fool.

Breitbart.tv : Controversial Brazilian Art Exhibit Distracts From San Paolo Biennial Celebration

I say we start making some "art" of our own to tweak the progressives into revealing their hypocrisy. Pictures of welfare recipients talking on iphones? Koran written on a roll of toilet paper? Paintings of "Planned Parenthood" doctors eliminating the parenthood part of the equation? Offensive? Sure, but just call it Art and make up some nonsense about your artistic vision and you should be ok with the left, am I right?

Breitbart.tv : Citizen Assaulted for Filming Governor at Event

It's not about facilitating Big Brother, a public event, open to the public, whether in a church, stadium, or theater is able to be and should be recorded by any citizen who wishes to attend. Polite or not no one has the authority to abridge your rights at a public event unless you are interfering with someone else's rights...the right to privacy does not apply here, this was not a private event.

Breitbart.tv : Obama's Science Czar: 'The Term Global Warming is Dangerous Misnomer'

But I thought "the truth is measurable by scientific instruments" ...hmm ok lemmie see here... ="guaranteed this guy, the Czar, has evaluated the science"= ="so you say his book from 33 years ago is as valid today as it was then?"= Well didn't he evaluate the science? Overpopulation was a big concern for who? World leaders were seriously concerned I suppose since so much has been done about it. Has the population contracted or expanded since then? Why is it not a top story if "we" are so still worried about it and why would he try to step away from his "imaginings" if that is all they were? At his Senate Confirm when asked about his statements he said this: "the motivation for looking at the downside possibilities, the possibilities that can go wrong if things continue in a bad direction, is to motivate people to change direction. That was my intention at the time." So I suppose there is nothing to worry about now since that apparently is no longer his intention.

Big Government : Google Backs Down on Net Neutrality

Actually I never attempted to make a case for the internet one way or the other. I simply entered a quote from James Madison since you decided to get a bit condescending and thick with some one else because Jefferson was not at the congress which penned the Constitution. (Although I believe he did send several letters to members with recommendations). I could also use your silly argument and say the supreme court of 1824 was not at the congress either so their opinion should be disregarded as well...now how silly does that sound? Furthermore the quotes and argument were about the original intent not what case law says, I think we are all aware of how the clause is viewed currently, and unfortuantely for you I think most of the people here would side with the foundational statement of Madison over what Marshall's court decided if given the opportunity. I was unaware of the1824 so that's a good nugget of info. Also if you had any searching skill at all the Madison quote is very easily verified. Trying to lessen the value of it by belittling the statement as unverifiable is just laughable.

"Yet it is very certain that it grew out of the abuse of the power by the importing States in taxing the nonimporting, and was intended as a negative and preventive provision against injustice among the States themselves, rather than as a power to be used for the positive purposes of the General Government, in which alone, however, the remedial power could be lodged." James Madison My history may be a bit hazy but I think this guy had something to to with the Constitution. And as I said before Progressives changed the definition of the commerce clause and it was backed up by a stacked court of Progressives, oh and it's not 100 years , closer to 70.

Progressives hi-jacked the commerce clause so long ago that even some conservatives don't know how it was truly intended. The twisted mutation which is considered "settled law" today is one of the biggest losses of our freedom to ever spawn out of the bunghole we know as Progressivism. Just ask that farmer way back when who was taxed on the wheat he didn't sell because it "effected commerce"

Breitbart.com : Obama urges Americans to take the lead in higher education

If you want our kids to have "the best education the world has to offer" then it wouldn't be in a progressive/liberal infested university Mr. Oblaba. Perhaps the 11 other countries that are above us teach their young people to study facts and make principled decisions based on truth instead of having the "professors" tell them what they should decide.
