25 or 30% of the population are already living in total socialism, With the tax payers paying for their food and shelter. The rest of us are being pushed closer and closer to facism every day. The government has failed us, and are the cause of the current economic crisis, by their over regulation and over taxation. I think you're right. If we have thousands of people at a local tea party and ACORN sends five people to protest us the media will cover the ACORN people, or nothing. We need all new congress and term limits.

All the cops I know are for the 2nd amendment, and are conservative. I don't know where you live, but I hope your cops are not crazy liberals.

When guns become illegale only the badguys will have them. Everywhere where guns have been taken from the citizens violent crime has gone up.

Good people must be able to defend themselves against bad people.

I'm a police sergeant. I live near Pittsburgh, PA. I just went to see the three Pittsburgh Officers who were shot and killed by the #@&* grazed , premeditated gunman. I am totally against gun control. The second amendment recognizes our God given inalienable right to weapons to defend ourselves. It was the criminal who killed those policemen, not the gun. Without the nutjob, the gun would just lay there safe as can be. Also there is a petition requesting the shooter be charged with Capital Murder, instead of just homecide. please help us convince District Attorney Steven Zapala to charge Capital Murder against the shooter

Resding The Miracle at Philadelphia, on the first pages of The 5000 Year Leap, I couldn't help but think there has been a fundamental breakdown of the government with regard to the Constitution. I believe it's time we the peolpe take all of the current laws, the government, and the agencies and programs and check them against the Constitution. Then we must eliminate all that do not agree with the Constitution. I know that many if not most of the beauracracies would be eliminated. The cuts would save billions of dollars. More important than the money savings it would make America much greater than it is today. It would release the creative entrapenurial spirit that made America the world's leader. Nobody would have to suffer from the cuts. If there is a real need for the program, private industry will step in and create a business providing the service the government used to provide, but private industry will do it much better.

Bills from Congress should only be on on subject. They should not be allowed to put totally unrelated laws into a bill. ie. If a bill is for a weapons system they shouldn't be allowed to put midnight basketball into it.

Fair Tax, but only with an amendment prohibiting income tax. I we don't have the prohibition they would have both taxes. Like Glenn said the Government is a vampire. We need to trash everything that is not in the Constitution. Government is way too big. They are dooing things they were never ment to do. I don't like term limits, but they are the only way we will ever get rid of the current career Do Nothing legislators we have now.

I agree with your thoughts about the overexposure. I wish the people would see what he's trying to do to this country. It feels like we will soon be a state of the UN instead of an independant country.

I can't get the 5,000 year leap. Amazon keeps delaying it. I tried 2 years ago. For 6 months or more they kept delaying and asking if I still wanted it. Finally I gave up, until March 13. I have now received one delay from Amazon. I hope I can get the book.
