Breitbart.com : US files first defense of health care law in court

"Congress determined that the health care system in the United States is in crisis, spawning public expense and private tragedy," said the government's brief. "After decades of failed attempts, Congress enacted comprehensive health care reform to deal with this overwhelming national problem. The minimum coverage provision is vital to that comprehensive scheme. Enjoining it would thwart this reform and re-ignite the crisis that the elected branches of government acted to forestall." The operative word in this paragraph is SCHEME. That is what the HC law is, one big scheme!

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Three Police Officers Killed in Pittsburgh Shooting

If these are the responses from friends I submit that the question reports asked WAS NOT......."What kind of person was Poplawski?" I submit that the questions asked of his friends were worded in such a way as this generated the responses which yo quoted. The media has been reporting alot of shootings within the past month. A red flag went up prior to the one in NY. Then the 3 Pittsburgh police officers and now a father kills his 5 kids then himself, (can't remember where, but it was just reported this morning). I have a feeling there will be several more being reported, and this will regenerate the intense debate on restricting our 2nd ammendment rights.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : How Bad Is The Economy?

In the early 80's,prior to meeting my 2nd husband, I was a divorcee raising2 small children. I worked 2 jobs to support them and my household. Sure I didn't get to spend alot of quality time with them, but they never went without anything. Iworked for everything. I didn't care what type of job it was just so long as I could make sure my kids didn't go without. After I married my husband, we both had low paying jobs as that was a recessed economy at the time. We made sure all our billswere paid and there was plenty of food. But if our paychecks didn't stretch to the next one for unforeseen reasons, my husband would pawn his wedding ring till the next paycheck came in and then get it back out. It's called personal responsibility. The government is not the arbitor of my life! I'm an intelligent person with a strong background in the corporate environment. But if I have to go to work for 7 or 8 bucks an hour just to pay my bills and put food on the table, by God I'll do it! I won't look to the government for a handout.

From: notifications@intensedebatemail.com
To: shepardchyna@hotmail.com
Subject: lbrtyNjstc4L replied to your comment on How Bad Is The Economy?
Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : WILL THE GITMO DETAINEES RE-SETTLED IN AMERICA BE GIVEN WELFARE?

Point 3: Resettling them here IS NOT the only option. I for one am sick and tired of my tax dollars going to illegal immigrants, let alone people too lazy to get up off their duffs and get a job; I'll be damned if I want them to go to a Gitmo detainee. Take them right back to the place, the exact place, they were picked up from. If I am required to fend for myself, by God let them fend for themselves! Point 4: To release them here in the U.S. constitutes a grave and terrible danger. Already a detainee released previously has gone back to Afghanistan and participating in terroists activities. Is there any gurantee that these individuals won't become the 'enemy within' funded by us? This is not being judicious as Obama believes and expectects us to believe; this is appeasement and it could cost us dearly.

These WERE NOT subsistence farmers who were taken to Gitmo by mistake. These "were new recruits at the time of their capture.....that are affiliated with and/or members of a designated terrorist organization....they received training in the al Queda/Taliban stronghold of Tora Bora and ADMITTED to being trained by 2 known terrorists." Point 1: They were not then, nor have they ever been citizens of the United States of American. Therefore, they have absolutely NO, REPEAT NO, rights under the Constitution. Point 2: Terrorists and enemy combatitant do not fall under the purview of the Geneva Convention as they do not belong to an organized military nor do they wear a uniform.
WRONG. Low/no income individuals get what most of us don't........THE EIC when they don't even pay flipping taxes. Why in bloody blue blazes should I work my tail off just to pay for someone else who is 'working the system' simply because they can? You aren't getting it. The end result is NO individually owned plans ONLY govt. healthcare for EVERYONE.

Continued.......The ones that would rather take the handout get more.He counts on that! The ones that want to go to work to provide for their families, live decent lives and capture a part of the AMERICAN DREAM are thence penalized for having the freaking audacity to be productive citizens and contribute. THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT SEE WHAT IS BEING DONE TO YOU FROM THE FRONT DOOR AS WELL AS THE BACK DOOR NEED TO WAKE THE HECK UP!!!!!!!!!!! Last note: As for the person who said to purchase your own health care and you will not be taxed by this, think a damn again! ANY reform of healthcare that the GOVT will do will have serious consequences for those who chose to OPT OUT of govt. run healthcare. JUST ASK HILLARY. Better yet, take a good look at this administration. IT IS A MIRROR OF THE CLINTON ADMIN. NEED I SAY MORE?

Continued........ NObama's core base is/was the poor, down-trodden, lower to mid-middle class that he made promise after promise to during his campaign. He signs a 787Billion stimulus that creates new ENTITLEMENT programs or EXPANDS those already in existance to boost the endorsement of his core base. He blinds them with his solemn promises that he is indeed working in their best interests to "make everything more equal", yet is screwing them in the process! How? you may ask. Well his core base, lets face it, the majority of those are smokers and drinkers (not to mention other vises legal or illegal) and he knows they aren't going to quit drinking or smoking cigs and the 'sin tax' gets MORE MONEY from his core base.

Continued....... After signing the omnibus he gives this big ole speech about how 'he had to sign it', but after this there will be no more earmarks. RUBBISH, the next stimulus is right around the corner, (just ask good ole botox Nancy). 95% of working americans will get a tax cut under his economic policies (yet if the cap and trade goes through taxes will go up on electricity, gas and virtually everything that is manufactured, grown and produced and the companies will pass those costs onto consumers creating a back door tax). He signs the 'sin tax legislation' virtually creating the largest taxes on cigarettes and liquor in the past 30+ years. (but when he wants a pack of smokes or a bottle of scotch he just writes out a voucher and it is paid by YOU GUESSED IT, the taxpayer!!!!!!! Geez Louise, he makes over 100grand per year and can't pay for his own cigs and booze!) ARE YOU GETTING THE PICTURE YET?

Continued........Additionally, because I am such a cynic and I have seen what this CONGRESS and their ilk are all about (after all it is THEM that make the laws NOT the president), there will be verbage added to that legislation that will also tax the employer for providing healthcare to employees. End result is, the employer, faced with additional taxation, will eliminate the healthcare benefit from their benefits package altogether. Win win situation for this current govt. don't you think? NObama said the following things (even signed an executive order for at least one of them), No lobbyists in his administration (there are). No more earmarks (he signed the omnibus, behind closed doors, loaded with over 8500 earmarks).

NObama claims 634Billion set aside to overhaul the healthcare system. Now NObama considers taxing company-paid health benefits. Clear your minds and think about this. First of all, most potential employees, when looking for a job are interested in 'if' the employer supplies health benefits. MOST employers do. A good majority of the time, just like ours, is employer/employee contiributed. ARE YOU GETTING ME? Even if you have a deduction from your payroll to pay part of your health insurance that your employer provides, you will be taxed on your contribution to same under this plan by NObama. SO MUCH FOR HEALTH CARE FOR EVERYONE. IT IS ONLY HEALTHCARE FOR EVERYONE SO LONG AS IT IS GOVT. PROVIDING SAME.
