Froogloid : How to design your very own android application

Assuming you have already sanity tested the design with friends, 3rd parties etc, then it's time to complete a "functional" design. What this means is you need to create a document that outlines "functionally" what will happen behind the scenes for each screen button etc. Think of this exercise as outlining all of the user scenarios that can happen in the application and how the app should handle each scenario. For example, user selects "save location button" but a data connection is not available present the following message to the end user "-------------". Once that's complete recruit a developer. They should be able to sanity test your design and help fill in all the technical detail. Hope this helps!

Froogloid : Attn DROID 2.0 Key Ring, a2b, and CowPotato Users

uninstall the version on your phone. settings > applications > manage applications > key ring > uninstall. Then install the latest version from the marketplace. When you install the latest version, key ring should recognize a backup saved on your SD card which will restore all of your cards. Hope this helps! ~ Team Froogloid

The version that made the backup "should" not make a difference. You don't have 2 backups in the same folder by chance do you?

Did you make a backup prior switching phones? If so, is your original "froogloid" folder from the SD card installed on your new phone?

Froogloid : Froogloid Status ~ Key Ring, a2b and New Secret App :)

In the meantime just manually add the retailer by typing the number without the special character. Test it at the gym and see if they recognize your membership ID by scanning it... FYI, we've identified the fix for special characters... now we just need to make the code changes. Stay tuned.

Well, I bet your membership ID does not include these special characters. If it doesn't I'm sure you'll be fine. Nonetheless we do plan on fixing this.

Does you card have a special character such as; * @ &? If so this is why your Boston sports club barcode is not showing. It's a know bug and we hope to fix it soon. In the meantime, add your BSC card manually by typing in the numbers but with no special characters. Let me know if that helps. Chris

The barcode may appear to be too small but that may actually be by design. Can you send me an email (info@froogloid.com) with retailer you added and the barcode number? I'd like to recreate it on the droid just to make sure there is not an issue. Thx! ~ Team Froogloid

ha, where to start! It's not so much 2.0 as the fact that android is making fundamental changes in the handsets supported. For example, different cameras, multiple firmware version, varrying screen sizes etc. Check out my post "fragmentation" for more info.
