Hardly considering the Liberals voting history, including bills they thought wouldn't be an issue. A Liberal private members bill on reproductive health options comes to mind.

How is it going to look when this comes to a vote and the Liberals don't stand united behind Ignatieff and Rae?

Not quite the way I see it. If anything, with Canada's guaranteed departure by the end of 2011 it's more like the NATO forces, much like every other invader of Afghanistan, is going to leave and they might as well try and save face by trying to look like they actually achieved something by negotiating a meaningless peace agreement.

No, I think there are several Conservative MP's past and present that are more award worthy then Mr. Toews. I find his views, in particular on gay marriage, immigration, law and order, among other topics abhorrent.
