Real Simple Success : Best Damn Shopping Cart Software, Period

Hi, Steve. That sounds great. Please, could you provide a little more detail? I find CS Cart is really a pleasure to develop with--as far as shopping carts go. They are, by their nature, complicated, but the developers at CS Cart have really made an effort to architect the thing well, and as simply as possible. Let me know a little more about your company/site.

I had Magento recommended me recently, and out of a duty to keep being informed, I guess I should still check it out, although this is good information. I was also told about a cart running off of Drupal, and I should also check that out at some point.

I have not perceived CS Cart&#039;s Add to Cart button as being slow. Going to James&#039; site (very cool BTW, that you have a RPG shop!), I do see how slow it appears. I believe that this is a matter of server slowness, though. The whole page (at least at the moment I loaded it) was very slow to load. I&#039;ve not had any perceived issues with slowness in CS Cart.

Thanks, Hollis! Appreciate it, and like the look of your site. (I&#039;m &quot;in between brandings&quot;, at the moment ;-)

Magento was just mentioned to me the other day as a possible option. This was by someone who had suffered through with OS Commerce, if I might say so, as I rather \\\"suffered\\\" with Zen Cart.... I want to know more about Magento, but so far, CS Cart is the winner. I would like to do some load tests to see about performance, but it sure seems good to me.

It&#039;s just Thematic - <a href="http://themeshaper.com/thematic-for-wordpress/" target="_blank"><a href="http://themeshaper.com/thematic-for-wordpress/</a>" target="_blank">http://themeshaper.com/thematic-for-wordpress/</a></a> - A great WP framework. It does, also, look quite nice on its own. I do plan to add some more design on it, but I also like how it looks.

I am also very interested in how to bring these sorts of &quot;best practices&quot; to a smaller client. I know we can do a &quot;full blown&quot; approach for a giant corporation, but I like that you have found ways to bring this sort of thing to the smaller guy. I want to learn how to do this better, as well -- even if it means a process that lasts a few hours, rather than a few weeks. It&#039;s the 80/20 approach - what can I get in there to make their project better? I&#039;d be interested in more on this topic, if you&#039;d be interested.
