I grabbed a Mediterranean salad (romaine, cucumbers, red peppers, feta, kalamata olives with balsamic dressing). It's my attempt to have at least one main meal of veggies every day. Sometimes I will cheat though and cut up a chicken strip and put it on top, you know, for protein.

I'm hoping that, if there are others who feel like us, they will do the same. Buy a ticket, boost sales, give it away if you can't go and watch. I'm also hoping that the high critical acclaim so far will drive some of the movie snobs out to see it and put it in the race for the Oscars. Then, they might re-release it in the theaters come next spring (like they did with No Country for Old Men, The Artist, There Will Be Blood, etc.) to make even more money.

I want to see it, but my soul has taken a great beating lately by all of these events. I will probably buy a ticket through Fandango and give it away to a friend or relative. That way, at least my money will help to raise ticket sales, even though I don't have the heart to actually watch it right now.

Eh, I just watched it on ZMovie. I categorize movies in 4 categories: 1) Good enough to pay matinee price 2) Good enough for me to win free screening tickets for, wait in line, but not shell out money 3) Interesting enough for me to want to watch it, but not pay money or wait in line at a free screening (these are the ZMovie ones) 4) F*ck it, just wait for it to come on Netflix/Premium Cable Now The Conjuring is in the #1 and #2 category, and I will break my neck trying to see it in the theater.

Yeah, I decided not to go see this once I heard that Pitt's production company won the bidding war against Dicaprio's production company for the rights to the movie, and that he was going to be the person that the whole movie was about. Complete opposite of what the novel WWZ is about, because tells the survival of several people, worldwide, not just one. Fuck Brad Pitt, his production company, and whoever else had a part in making this non-WWZ movie.

Good to see my state is doing something right. While I was abstinent in high school (never really felt mature and comfortable enough with a partner to go there during that awkward phase of life), I can assure you that many aren't. This is a good step to making sure these kids aren't ignorant about their bodies or sexual education.

She needs to have a photo taken of her, so she can see how she really looks. I've been one to ignore the fact that I'd gained weight, until I saw a photo of me, full body shot, and realized that I got huge. When she looks in the mirror, she will only see what she used to see. Full-length body shots are undeniable. I'm guessing that, as a mother, she's busy and probably too busy taking pictures of the babies rather than being in them.
