KOMO - Seattle, WA : Even after backlash, banks quietly pursuing fees | Consumer News | Seattle News, Weather, Sports, Br

This story isn't new to me either as a BOA customer they've been charging me extra for a Savings, extra for mailing a statement, extra for everything - so when the story says that BOA has been quietly testing these fees in a few states, they forgot to mention that it is being testing in Washington state too!

I wish that worked with my lab mix dog....I love fireworks and my old dog loved fireworks....this dog gets freaked out by car doors closing a block away! I try and ignore the noises, I've tried to console her, I've tried to tell her to buck it up and be a real dog....yeah, nothing has worked....and puppy tranq's turn her into a vegitable, even when I only give her 1/4 of a pill! I was hoping to hear that this worked....

I tried Zevia (soda pop) early last year at the grocery store - On KOMO they tried the orange flavor - which I agree isn't too good....but the lemon/lime flavor was interesting when I tried it which was kinda like Fresca and diet 7-up mixed.....I did purchase a 6 pack of it, but still haven't finished all of it!

A Liquor Control Board has a monopoly on what Washingtonians are allowed to drink. Most of us would agree that there is enough liquors to choose from but I like the idea of trying out "boutique" items and such. There was a recent article regarding a local business that was trying to import their boutique tequila. It is made in small batches, etc.. In the article it said that a "Liquor Control Board spokesman said the most common reason a liquor wouldn’t be approved is because of an abundance of similar products." Why shouldn't the consumers be allowed to have 800 different types of vodkas or tequilas? Why is it that a chosen few get the privilege to pick and choose what we are allowed to purchase? Why not let supply and demand control what is on the shelves? Why does the LCB need to save us from ourselves? There’s a nice article regarding the local business trying to sell their tequila in this state! Good luck on their success! <a href="http://<a href="http://www.pnwlocalnews.com/east_king/iss/business/37732079.html"" target="_blank">www.pnwlocalnews.com/east_king/iss/business/37732...target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.pnwlocalnews.com/east_..." target="_blank">www.pnwlocalnews.com/east_king/iss/business/37732...

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Contractor on brink of closure: Feds never paid | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Local

I'd rather have a government entity take it's time instead of another Port of Seattle "Third Runway" overpayment/ massive foul up/ potential fraud/ etc issue again! Unfortunately, the business and the people are at risk, and just before the holiday. I really wonder who is at fault: the contractor, the designer or the owner (tax payer)?
