What I will do is give my feedback about what irritates me about this site, which is a perfectly legitimate thing to do. I have grown ridiculously tired of posts about fringe characters with blogs and minor local market radio shows who have something stupid, disgusting, gauche, racist or whatever to say. They are a dime a dozen, their views are predictable, and you can always find one. It's low- effort filler to post about the Jim Hofts, the Alex Joneses, the Minnesota hair metal guy-- any of them. The same goes for posts about comment sections and random tweets from ordinary idiots. It is old news that these people are out there. When somebody with a major media presence says something worth mocking or decrying here, that's different. When a public official or political party official makes an ass of himself, that demands more attention, in my view, than what some slug the Internet has let out of the asylum slimed onto his blog. I like Wonkette posts in which the writer connects dots in a way that isn't obvious, that has a real point of view, that has an insight. If Wonkette is just going to be a cavalcade of the usual gang of idiots' outrages, we get less and less of what you guys really think about the stuff that's going on. Even if it's just being really good at being really funny about it. And, yes, I would like you guys to dig a little deeper into the things you post about sometimes. When I read a post that begs an obvious question, and I find the answer in 30 seconds, I wonder why the writer didn't do that. Yesterday really got on my last nerve with what seemed like nonstop coverage of fringe loonies. Seeing another installment of that crap first thing in the morning was just too much.
