He certainly made some unnecessary political comments on the Letterman show about five years back. Also I saw Crystal's one man show in Los Angeles around 2005 or 2006, and three times during that live show he slammed George Bush. I'd been a big Crystal fan and it was a turn off for me. So in an election year...don't be surprised if Crystal goes off script. ....
