The point is she criticized another network for something her own network does too. That’s why it got posted here. All networks do it. So why does she believe she can criticize another network over her own? That’s arrogance. All networks do it which makes this a non story that she tried to create. According to msnbc Olberman is allowed to make those donations, he just did not seek prior approval first. That’s why he got suspended. It has nothing to do with Hannity, Beck, anyone on Fox, or any contributions made by anyone else on any other network.

I have trouble understanding why she would say anything at all and make this about something it isnt. Olberman got suspended for making personal contributions. In her mind she some how equates this “Well foxnews does it!!!!!” – um no, the two are nothing alike. Any more than the several examples here of MSNBC raising funds has anything to do with Olbermans personal contributions. This lady is seriously out of touch and reminds me of a young child deflecting blame after they get busted for staying out past curfew. By saying anything at all she draws attention to her own ignorance.

I'm reminded of the exact moment when I knew there was no longer such a thing as a "journalist". During the Obama campaign all news outlets were invited to a town hall except fox. When a reporter tried to get in a blogger (who called himself a journalist) stood up and told the guy to leave. The guy from fox said “How come you be here and I can’t?” – the blogger said “I’m opinion news, you aren’t” – OPINION NEWS? I started shouting “What the hell is OPINION news?” That goes against everything journalism stands for!?!?!? Journalism is dead for that very reason. People believe their opinion is news, they don’t report facts or what actually happens.
