Question on the BC foundation- is it continuous concrete or slab. No doubt it's built on a solid foundation from 1884 and the home being on riverfront lot, but I was curious nonetheless. I watched the videos and read on the BC but didn't find my answer. I probably just missed it, but will someone kindly share if they know?
Those guys have fabulous man voices and inflection. (Disclosure: I'm a wannabe musician). Seriously I love the videos and in somehow participating or playing a part (albeit tiny) in the construction of BC. Now if only all my choices would win!
After watching the videos, I've no doubt that this dream house is a fort, thanks to the 25-foot steel beam! plus the other structural considerations making it solidly built inside and outside. I also appreciate the safe distance from the shore to avoid flood damage.
