I was like "what??" when I read it on the front...in spanish, the way it's said on the paper seems to mean that Iniesta wouldn't mind to meet (or play with) Cesc in Manchester...so imagine my face when I read that. I went to EMD's web as fast as I could to read the whole new and I found that about the spot...phew xD.

I was about to say exactly the same. Yes, he indeed takes a look behind before letting his arm go. I watched several times the video...and I don't know (or I wouldn't dare to say) if the hit was on purpose or not but he takes a look back, that's a fact.

1- Zlatan had advantage over Sevilla's defender...why should he dive? I don't know if it would be too strict to blow penalty for that but for me, at least, it's a foul. 2- Bojan's goal was completely legal. Nothing more to add about it. 3 - Chygrynskiy's foul was a clear one and deserved the yellow card. The thing is that the foul itself started outside the penalty area (so it should be blown there) and, when both men entered the penalty area, Capel fell down. I've been trying to find out if the penalty can be conceeded in that situation but haven't found anything clear, so I don't know... 4- About Alves goal...well I first said that it was offside, clearly. But now, watching again the video I'm not that sure...I have the video stopped in minute 1:29 (when the pass to Alves is about to be given) and couldn't really say if Alves is ahead or not than the defender on the bottom (of the screen). I can understand that the referee disallowed that goal.

Happy New Year to you all! ;) Well...I don't really know what to say since you guys said it all...but anyway, I still can thank you for this wonderful last months (and those that will come). It's been an honour and pleasure to participate in this project and to meet you all...All of you are fantastic, and I mean both readers and staff ^^. They deserve that reward, all of them. Now, when the six titles are achieved, we opt to forget about all the effort the players did to win them. November and December were horrible for them, match after match with almost no resting...don't they deserve a break? Besides, we have players enough to deal with Villarreal's match, and if we draw or lose it won't be because Guardiola rested players. I rather prefer Messi rested than playing tired. And how can you write that "Spanish people and latinos like to rest or go on strike instead of working"? Don't you see that Guardiola (who is Catalan, or Spanish...as you want) has been one of the coaches (or I could say the only one) who has forced the players to work hard and to give all what they have in every match? I really think that you might have watched another team last season, because Guardiola's team has worked harder than ever (that's why they won the six titles).

Just checked AS front page and they don't say anything about Barça...about Marca's front, they only say 'Messi ends today his perfect year: FIFA World Player'. They speak about Pellegrini and how Madrid can beat the "107 goals record" if they keep like they've been so far. Don't know...we could discuss that, but I think that for a Barça website...AS and Marca's fronts doesn't fit. There are Barça related news in those newspaper...but not on the front (well, you just saw xD). Just my opinion, though ;)
