And I believe it is sincere, so I would like to move on from insults to actual discussion of issues from now on. I was constantly being blocked/censored on here so I decided to actually sign up in the hopes I would have an opportunity to say my peace. I also wanted a name that would reflect my political beliefs. I am NOT a Democrat and am registered to vote as an independent. That is very important to me. I HATE partisan politics, which is why I choose to come into this forum and offer dissenting views, because, lets face it, this is an EXTREMELY partisan message board. There are a LOT of you on here who need a serious reality check. I am certainly very liberal in my views about abortion, gay marriage, and health care but I am also DECIDEDLY conservative on my views when it comes to immigration, gun control, and my disbelief in man made global warming. I am a lot closer to the middle than the left than those of you posting here would realize. I voted for Obama, but I am certainly NOT an Obamabot and I give him a C- /D+ and am not overly thrilled with him thus far. I still think Sarah Palin is a scatterbrained moron and has NO business governing in any way, shape, or form. I still think Ann Coulter is a hateful, evil, and hypocritical woman who is guilty of voter fraud in my state. I still think Jeannine Garofalo is a left wing extremist who says MANY stupid things. When I see ridiculous far right comments or far left comments (like those spewed from the mouth of Jeannine Garofalo, I do believe there is a definite left leaning media in this country) I will be here to comment about know how stupid I think they are. That is what this forum and country are ALL about. The ability to have your say, even when surrounded by those who don't agree. I welcome the scorn of those on here who continue to place more value on tired, old, ideologies that DO NOT work in the real world over pragmatic approaches that will (hopefully) actually lead to a better society..
