Excuse me? What about the push from the evangelical's? This backlash is a responce to those that want this country (and military) to be a Theocracy.

I for one won't allow religion to poison my fellow soliders and sailors.

Big whoop Ray. So this means I disagree with what PZ says here for I am a dictionary atheist. The word atheist means what it means and if you, your ilk or PZ want to contact Webster's and get an add on or correction please have at it.

I don't believe in god/gods there for I am an atheist but it is not the only thing that defines me; I also a humanist, naturalist, skeptic, critical thinker, a father, a sailor in the greatest navy on the planet, a marathoner and one hell of a cook.

I only use Atheist because I know it gets under the skin of fundies like you Ray.
