No, it isn't. But the best thing BJ can do to win this election is to give up on this SurrrenderTreaty Mark 2 and go for a clean Brexit at the end of January 2020. The deal is a nonsense, almost indistinguishable from May's horror show, except this one is worse since it throws NI under a bus and puts a border down the North Sea. Many, many Leavers don't trust his deal, whatever he and his mates say.

He should come in with what he promised when he was massively voted Leader, Leave with or without a deal, or die in a ditch. If the Conservative party adopt thisattitude watch Leave Voters fall in behind him and he will win a landslide.

Well done Clwyd South. I wish our Association would do the same. We are an almost 60% leave constituency with the PM's PPS 'remain' MP. She would do anything rather than support her constituents, would rather play silly jokes and win 'tea at the Ritz' by making a fool of the sub-prime-Minister. Simples!

Agree with you completely sir. Let's go WTO - its the only way to save the Conservative party.

Mind you, its going to be hard with the numpty infants in the commons nursery passing laws they completely fail to understand.

@ Agox64
And that is because we are reduced to a one-trick, traitorous, dictator-sub-prime-minister. The name 'Mugabwe' springs to mind - certainly if she carries on like this she will trash this prosperous country like Mugabwe did his.

''I tend to think May winked at those ministers trying to stop no deal. So maybe they are not as disloyal as one might think. ''..... No kidding? I wrote about this yesterday in the Telegraph and set out the scenario clearly.

Who does she think we are, primary school children?

True enough, but she would have to get it voted through Parliament first wouldn't she? (the lying, treasonous you-know-what)

If it even looks like being tabled (again) I, for one, would contribute towards massive paid press advertisements in ALL the newspapers explaining in words of one syllable the truth of what is happening here - what our MPs seem too 'educationally challenged' to understand.... (crowdfunding?)

I heard on Sky News today (so it absolutely must be correct, mustn't it?) that Leo Varadkar (Little Leo) has said that the UK "must sign up to the EU Customs Union" and not "crash out" without a deal. So good of him to tell us what we must do!
Also, I repeat below a comment made in the Daily Telegraph yesterday, in answer to an article by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard (I hope he doesn't mind too much...)
Simon Stephenson 14 Feb 2019 6:46AM
"My assumption is that the EU will be forced by diplomatic, political and economic pressure to come up with something plausible on the backstop to defuse the Brexit crisis, whatever the current rhetoric from Brussels today.

It will probably be some form of codicil that gives greater legal weight to the Political Declaration. This is double-edged since it locks supremacy of the European Court, the continuation of the acquis, and such details as fishing quotas, deeper into the relationship."

This would be no use whatsoever, because it merely perpetuates the situation where the UK is expected to sign up to a relationship in which the EU calls all the shots. Why on earth would we want to do this?"

My God, it gets worse and worse. If you read my comment above you will see many truly awful details of the rules we will be tied into if we accept this 'deal'. How has it come to this? It is patently NOT A DEAL, it is a SURRENDER DOCUMENT.

That May, as our Prime Minister, thinks it is acceptable to be signing up to such a surrender is, as you say, lunatic. The insane are running the asylum. She should be tried for treason and shut away for a very long time. She must not be allowed to get away with signing us up to this terrible 'deal' by any means at our disposal.
