Worked as a nurse for twentyfive years. Always on my feet and on the go. Began walking four to six miles a year ago to shed ten pounds before my long awaited vacation after I retired. I love it. When there is no snow on the ground I take off every morning after the school bus comes. I do not over eat. But in the evening I will crave something sweet. A bowl of cheerios usually does the trick. I do feel badly for those who have a weight problem. Wish I had the answer. I retired in June of 2008. I had no reason to believe/think we were on the verge of an economic collapse. If I had known, I would have not retired at that time.Now we find ourselves struggling. Groceries are higher and of course our electric is much higher in the winter months because we have an all electric home. We are fine though. We do not go out. We stay home. We are responsible Americans who pay their bills. There is nothing extra for a night out or vacation...Since I have managed a household for thirty seven years, I know for a fact that the STIMEY bill is a psuedo fraud. It will not stimulate the economy. It is plainly payoffs. Were going to be in worse shape than ever. Look at GM. They need more billions, why?, no one is buying those cars....I say let's boot these people out of office and hire some housewives to handle the situation!!!!
