I remember the first time my , now grown, daughter tugged at my apron, and said MOMMY please I want to help. I looked at her little frame and height and thought, oh my... how many broken dishes can I afford?.... but then I took a step back and with a big smile pulled up a chair with a high back, took off my apron , folded it over, and handed her a dish cloth with instructions and encouragement. She was about 3 I think..... but this was a big lesson in responsibility and sharing for her.. I know it made her gain values that only can be taught through times like that. I will never forget her smile.... now as I face grandchildren and it would be easier to just do it myself, I step back and remember the important lessons in allowing the children to step up to the counter and become participants in whatever ways available... it is vital for their maturity and growth and self worth. So whether it is pancakes, or muffins, or cupcakes, or mixing the ingredients for meatloaf or stirfry, I am learning too... This great product would be such an addition to any home with young children. ( and stop a lot of accidents waiting to happen with the little ones continuing to try to climb up on counters to be in the midst of the party!!!) thanks for the review and the giveaway! cathy b project hope 7 ( at ) g mail (dot ) com
