Stephanie, I am so proud of my son. Sometimes I forget to tell him. I found a good 3 day/week training plan for a 1/2 marathon I can pass on to you if you like. I think 1/2's are very doable and while you feel accomplished you are not sucked into running day in and day out like doing the full marathon~

Mine listen much better to Glenn than me...go figure! It is hard but sometimes being "the bad guy" is the best way to earn their respect. Kids crave structure, routine and even discipline! Good luck~

Stacy: It is great to hear how your kids compliment each other. I often tell mine that at the end of the day "each other is all they've got" - not sure they get that but if said enough more many years perhaps they will understand!

Great idea about writing down nice things about one another..I know this too shall pass BUT I have met the kids who did not grow up in the environment I am aiming for and I certainly don\\\'t want my three on that list!

Anny - I am not sure that I have any great advice for you but I can say I have been where you are. It is impossible to \\\"make\\\" someone else desire to cut back and save money. Especially when that person is your husband. He is going to have to come around to the idea himself and sometimes it takes a bit of a financial \\\"scare\\\" to do so. Maybe if you could find just one area where he could cut back so that he can still have most of the things he wants but is making a small sacrifice (small is better than none) then you would not feel so cheated. It is so hard to manage money jointly with someone else and even more so when you are not quite on the same page. Good luck and thanks for the comment!
