You know you are going to an IMAX movie when you go up several escalator rides just to get to the theater. IMAX has been around for a long time now and I have always been a fan of films made for the format. (Destiny in Space, anyone???). My real complaint with IMAX is that if you don't get seats in the back or middle of the theater you are screwed. If you thought sitting in the front for a regular movie sucked, wait to you have to sit in the front row of an IMAX movie. In my opinion, optimal seating for IMAX is close to the rear where you can get the whole picture.
