Of course you don't know what you're talking about in regards to the first amendment. Please take a basic law course at your local community college soon. The first amendment only protects the individual from the GOVERNMENT infringing on freedom of speech. It DOES NOT protect an individual from an employer infringing on freedom of speech.

to repaeat: At will employee. nearly impossible to sue for wrongful termination unless he got fired specifically for something he didn't do... he did this. I'm just curious, Denny Crane, how do you it's a "wrongful termination?" What... because it was wrong that he got fired? Why don't you leave the legal analysis to the attorneys, OK, there, F. Lee?

Why would Jobs care about something as dopey as that when they can't even meet the demand for the iPhone 4? One dopey video doesn't hurt them.

But the fact is that most electronics cutomers in general are stupid and that's what Apple counts on anyway. They make all of their products for stupid people to begin with. That's not a knock on Apple, that's a tribute to their successful business model. All of their products are designed for ease of use and reliability first and foremost which translates into technology for stupid people. I say this as someone who actually isn't tecchnologically retarded and owns both an iPhone and an iPad. And BTW, not for nothing, most consumers are stupid about everything they buy, not just electronics. Again, not a knock, just a reality. They don't deal with every line of every product on a daily basis so they make decisions based exclusively on marketing. Is it any coincidence that Apple routinely pre-sells millions of products before one human being has ahd a chance to review any of their products?

Wow, dumbest post yet! Agree with the other responses but furthermore, BB hasn't made any argument about this making their customers look stupid, they are claiming it disparages the Apple Brand which is ridiculous. If they are that concerned about employees disparaging a brand, they should fire half of their sales staff who routinely take a dump on one brand and/product line in favor of other ones in Best Buy all day long. If you don't believe me, just go into a BB and start talking to a sales person about TV's.

Correct. If she was really smart what she would do is endorse a plan that has the Federal Gov't just send $1 million to every person (legal or not) in this country. After all, why stop at just printing money for unemployment? This way everyone would feel good about themselves even though the money isn't worth anything.

^^^ And this happened the last time a couple of months ago and it was the same issue. Remmebr the law that said was endorsed and by Obama that said they wouldn't add more without taking it away from something else in order to pay for it? But, no, no one cares aboutthat and the long term damage this continuous deficit spending is doing.

She didn't say it, the OP said it. And we have let people go and it's a myth that letting people go jacks up your rates. "The point is, she assumes it's free money and that taking it from productive workers and distributing it to non-productive non-workers is beneficial to all of us. This is different than tax rebates or discounts where the monies paid by tax payers is returning to those that have paid (unlike the stimulus money that is paid to everyone indiscriminately). While infusing money into a business, through purchases of goods or services, is a good thing to the business, a far better thing is to have the unemployed person working and producing not just consuming. They will always consume, let's get them producing too. " ^^^^ Jackpot. It'stimulus all aover again and the same flawed policies of consumption to drive an ecnomy that got us here in the first place.
