I am a software developer. One time I had a write a program that would schedule tasks for employees in a department for an ivy league university, I labeled the program "Taskmaster". It threw the entire department into an uproar. I was ordered to change the title and was almost sent out for sensitivity training.

There are millions of people angry at Leno for pulling what many believe is an under-handed move to keep his job or get Conan's job. For him to go on TV the other night and act like it wasn't his fault was an insulting joke. He blew it with his new show and doesn't deserve to be rewarded by taking Conan's. Does NBC seriously think he's going to get the ratings back under these circumstances? I know I won't be watching.

Victoria, after this article, I think your chances of landing a role as the "sitcom airhead" will be greatly increased. Unfortunately, I have no doubt that they will intentionally cast you as the stupid Christian/conservative that ignores science and logic and who quotes the Bible in inappropriate situations. They will never reveal their true motivations at your audition, but instead, will slowly transform your character over time into a mockery of all things conservative. Be careful not to fall for the trap.
