I went to the theater and paid money to see Star Trek Into Darkness in 3-D and enjoyed the film. Then I analyzed what I saw. It was like coming down from a good party. All the flaws were naked and visible. Things seemed familiar. I enjoyed the casting, using Peter Weller and Alice Eve in the leads but the story could have been so much better. As a long time Trek fan is a shame that this is someone's first Star Trek experience. I could turn this into a rant but I will stop.
