On the whole Canada`s Muslims are fairly moderate, a large percentage being Sufis and another group whose name I forget. There are also the extremists for sure, but who to this point have had no impact on Canadian society. Nonetheless, it remains true that the moderates are unwitting Trojan horses for the bad guys.

That's a pretty good theory about what happened, one which may well prove accurate. I had heard at first that investigation was being blocked. Now that I understand otherwise I'm less troubled, assuming there's no reason to think it will be a coverup.

Stats do show increasing attacks on Jews, but not on blacks. Moreover, DH is talking about worldwide, not just the US. Accordingly African states are not singled out for condemnation at the UN, over and over and over. No black African state is considered illegitimate, or relentless investigated by UN bodies. It was not black children murdered in France, or cemeteries with black names that are defaced throughout Europe. It is not black people running scared from Malmo and elsewhere. No one and no state threatens a holocaust of black people. DH is right.

This supposition of yours is wrong, "Just because he doesn't like everything Israel is doing does not mean he hates Jews." Countless people don't like everything Israel is doing but are not seen as anti-Semitic. It is not why Buchanan is seen that way. It is for other reasons, like extreme prejudice and the totally misplaced attribution of pejorative and manipulative motives behind actions and words. That's not why he's seen as an anti-Semitie.

This is about far more than Israel`s security and whether the US will do what it can to assist an ally. Iran's nuclear warhead carrying missiles pose an existential threat to not just Israel, but Europe, and soon enough the US too. A nuclear Iran means a completely out of Middle East control nuclear arms race. In turn that means terrorist groups will get their suitcase nukes, and we can be certain that the US no less than Israel will be their destination. To protect itself, the US should strike those Iranian facilities.

If it's true that an American must be "natural born" to qualify for the presidency, and if it's true that natural born means both parents were American citizens, then Geller has a point. However, while the meaning of natural born is in dispute (ultimately subject to a supreme court decision), for now it is more generally held to mean anyone born on American soil. Geller may well be right, nonetheless, that the founding fathers would not have found Obama eligible by whatever definition they had in mind.

The right has to be careful not to do that which the left does - assume anyone with political leanings opposite yours is necessarily infusing all that they do with political bias. Besides, as you suggest, no matter Larsson's politics, he has, in fact, created something of a conservative hero.

Excellent movie, I agree. And it's in no way a left leaning film. But it is hard to watch at times, given the sexual violence, even if the heroine's ability to shake just about anything off and drive on is so inspiring.
