Big Hollywood : Hulu Gets Political, Preps 'West Wing Lite'

I'd actually prefer some actual West Wing. Disagreed with 94% of the politics in that show, but, for the first four seasons, it was well written and hilarious with plenty of likable characters.

Big Hollywood : Daily Call Sheet: Oscar Trailer, Duke as Dirty Harry, More Stupid Studio Moves Against Netflix

Do you mean Bryce? Because I'm pretty sure they had an entire half-seasons worth of episodes dealing with their complicated relationship. The episode where they told that back story from both sides, Season one's "Chuck Vs The Alma Mater" I believe, was actually the episode that finally cemented my opinion that Chuck was a show worth watching.

Big Hollywood : Hollywood Reporter: The Grinch Has Stolen Christmas

I don't actually mind the "second blockbuster season" Idea. release some big adventure films at a time of year when it's normally kind of vacant in the film department, I like it. I plan on seeing Tintin tomorrow, and would love to see MI4 sometime too. I do agree with you on the new Chipmunks being out of place, though. but I'll also admit I can't really stand those movies.

Big Hollywood : WE LOVE PIXAR: The Secret Ingredients

The Strong Ending and Characters are really something most movies overlook, on the character department especially. Many Characters in movies nowadays are so cookie cutter and bland that you just don't care, some make up for this with a strong plot, but most just fizzle. the reason I adore sequels is because I care about the characters and I want to see their story continue and how they mature. Most movies skimp on that and thus force me to refer to the character as the actor's name. (We all do that? right? right?) The strong ending is a total must, I love LOST, but the out and out bizarreness of its last five minutes were not horrible, but the series deserved an ending that was mind-blowingly amazing, not mind-blowingly perplexing. When you have a really good ending (LotR, Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and arguably 2) It shows. PIXAR Realizes this. When will everyone else?

Well, you also have to remember, Cars is still better than 95% of most kids movies.
