I find the picture they chose for this article annoying. They found the one picture that will depict a "poor helpless grandma" getting arrested. This is a "politically persuasive" technique of photography and/or news broadcasting. This picture was shot with intention, and put online with intention. I won't be fooled!

You make it sound like "actually Happening" and "that very likely there will be harassment" is a HUGE difference.

Would you feel comfortable using this difference if it was your family's safety in question?

Shame on this school district. What if they don't let this girl complete the seventh gradel? Gosh forbid she feel the stress of falling behind, or being left behind by friends moving on to the next grade and then become depressed or angry. The article mentions she has never been in trouble before.....think how they may alter the course of her life by this. To be held at the same standards of a student bringing a pipe bomb is just absurd.
