.308 is nice but the rounds are heavy and so is the gun. An AR-15 is a far better choice chambered in 5.56 NATO. Round has a flatter trajectory too. Easier to shoot. For home defense though, nothing beats a 12 guage loaded with 00 buck. Carry one in your car but load it with sabotted slugs. Keep some buckshot handy in case the natives get in close. And don't forget your pistol as a last resort. (Carry the AR in your trunk, just in case.)

Don't look now but there is an opportunity here to make Obama a half or three-quarters term president. His approval rating could tank by November. The economy is going to fall off the cliff by then. The music stops on January 1 and everybody knows it. Tax rates are going through the roof. Muni bond/treasury swap spreads and credit default swaps are on a parabolic curve heading north. There is likely to be a mad rush for the exits come October. With a November victory and an angry electorate the ground will be ready for the seeds of Obama's ouster. A blizzard of subpoenas could force him to prove his eligibility for office. Obama's entire life is clouded in mystery, e.g. his passport. He never had one until he became a senator. So the question is, what passport did he use to travel the world before then? Maybe he's not a U.S. citizen at all. An angry public won't have the patience to give him the benefit of the doubt. He could be forced to resign. Better yet, all of his acts as president could be nullfied including all of his judicial appointments. So lift up your hearts countrymen. This nightmare could very well almost be over.

Where do you think all these stories about the "growing and threatening" militia movement came from? The timing is not coincidental. They were deliberately planted by the WH. And now people start showing up at health care townhalls armed with AR-15s which look like M-16s. Do you think that's an accident? Back in the sixties during the civil rights anti-busing protests Alinsky showed up at a rally with a coterie of supporters in full KKK regalia who proceeded to shout down, jeer at and threaten the civil rights protesters. Of course he had alerted the media that this would happen so they were out in force to record the nasty event. Alinsky later instructed his "students" that this was the way to deal with dissenters, portray them as Klan. And it worked too. This was an example of what Alinsky called his "Political Ju-Jitsu." Now come people carrying what appear to be assault weapons to a health care townhall, just what the media has been warning of. Now if you believe that's a coincidence I've got a bridge to sell you. Think for a minute about what this means. Here we have a President of the United States who is reckless enough to introduce the threat of violence into a political debate. The suggestion that people report to the White House on their neighbors backfired so he now resorts to this. He's hoping 1, to discredit the "Teabaggers" and 2, to implant the fear among them that they might be caught in a shootout among "crazies" and police. He's hoping the "Teabaggers" who don't stay home out of common sense will respond by bringing their own guns. What happens if somebody unknown fires a shot? What could be better for Obama than if a bloodbath ensues? This Nazi tactic is Obama's true face. It is absolute evil. Obama is a revolutionary and this Bolshevik isn't giving up without a fight. He's "fighting back twice as hard." Don't fall for it. Leave your guns at home. They're not going to win this fight but an incident such as the one I describe can give Obama the excuse to impose martial law. Be not deceived. He'll burn down the Reichstag if he has to. Leave the guns at home. Take a lesson from Martin Luther King and Gandhi. Take the hits. Don't fight back. Let the Obamaniacs show their true colors. We may have to fight them yet but now is not the time and we must not be fooled into playing into their game. LEAVE THE GUNS AT HOME!
