KOMO - Seattle, WA : Kids beware: Obama would cut summer break | KOMO News - Breaking News, Sports, Traffic and Weather -

Do kids really need 3+ months of having nothing to do to be a kid? Im not saying they should go year round but I dont think they need longer than a 6 week break from school in the summer time.. Having kids in school more often then not may actually keep them out of trouble too and away from drugs, alcohol and sex.

She knew what she did was wrong. Who in their write mind would spend that amount of money when they were only to receive around $30? If she's depressed she shoulda spent the money more wisely and used it on clearing up her depression or did she think a brand new car would make her happier?

If the car is worth 250k to him then why is he sitting on it? it looks like its in really good condition or maybe he just had it repainted but i know my jeans wouldnt be rubbing on my car - those rivets on the back pocket could put a scratch. I used to show my car at car shows so I can be a nutcase about any possible scratches. I had to sell my car 2 years ago and I dont think i could whip out 250k to get it back even if i had the money papa has but I surely would probably pay 25,000 for it.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Ken Schram: What were you thinking? | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Ken Schram

I am assuming here and I feel like it wil come off as trying to argue but im not. I am just an avid user of arterials over freeways during 7am - 8pm..I just always skip the freeway regardless of traffic because I can't stand the constant traffic. I am assuming south bellevue is factoria/new castle area? so head up towards eastgate and then through lake hills into crossroads and then hop on 520. Ive been coming home from West Seattle at night to realize that the 405N onramp is closed and they just happen to post the sign right after the Bellevue Way exit so I continue to Eastgate and then trek through lake hills to 520 just to find out that the 405N ramp there is closed so I go through downtown Kirkland. I dont complain I just make the extra commute. I dont see the big deal in some lanes being closed. There's so many ways around that we dont have to ony use the main freeways. excuse the lack of grammar - not my strong point.

If I was you I would get a mini whiteboard and a pen and keep it in your car. Write down that you have run into the store at a certain time and you dont plan to be longer than 5 mins. Write down your name and cell number and ask them to call before calling for police or animal control if not back by said time. Example: "I, John Doe am leaving my vehicle at 3:46pm to run in to the store. I plan to be no longer than 5 mins. Please call my cell at 425-555-1212 before attempting to call the police or animal control. Thanks" Seems like a lot of work but if you really only plan on being 5 mins I would much rather take the time to write that out on a white board and put it on my dash then not write anything and come out to my window being broken.
