As a student of history, ThunderChief, you know precisely where all this crap is heading! Our parents/grandparents generation could get by playing the naive card because at that time who COULD have believed such barbarism could be unleashed by a government upon its own citizens. After the 20th century, WE now know EXACTLY what a government is cabable of doing. It is all heading our way again...........

Thought I'd let you all in on a little something I did yesterday. I'm also an endowment member of the NRA (Jeez, talk about being on a DHS watchlist...! ;) ) Yesterday, I received an urgent mailgram from the NRA with postcards to send to my Senators, Representative and US Attorney General Holder. I figured what the heck and added a runoff of the 9 Principles/12 Values clearly stating the 912 Project with each of the cards. I don't know what affect it will have, but having the extra clout of millions of grassroots NRA brothers can't hurt, I figure........

One more item Your proposal needs to work in conjunction with a list of current D and R candidates. Yes, they are still members of the current parties, but we must be realisitic and realize these parties won't disappear overnight--they may, for a time, still be the only candidates in certain areas.........Please see posts by Southpaw2 and AmericanReason below....

You are absolutely correct, Brett. KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID should be our (albeit already used) motto! Let no one mistake me--social issues are important, but we must get back to where these issues are STATE issues, not FEDERAL, as the Constitution devised!

I, too, am a Nebraskan. Keep us posted, and keep the Nebraska 912Project posted. I will make every attempt to help as much as I can--but I am limited for reasons that I am unable to disclose at this time.

Southpaw2 I'm replying to you and AmericanReason so you get the bump. Both of you have great ideas. AR, would a new tab on this website do the trick? I'd personally like to see it posted on the 912project, or at least verified here.

Not only elected representative, but elected positions for JUDGES, also. It always burns my butt at general elections when we have judge position for vote and it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find out their records.........

If others posters agree, please keep bumping Southpaw2 to keep this at the top of the page!
