According to AccuScore, which ran 10,000 computer simulations, the 1992 team would win 53.1 percent of the time and by an average margin of one point per game.

I don't know doesn't sound that unreasonable for one of the top players of all time playing with two other top players of all time to think they could beat the 1992 team.

Come on now. No way could Jordan beat Kobe today. Jordan in his prime sure but not now. Did you watch him play with the Wizards? He was good but not the Jordan of the 90's.

Airbags help with head injuries, but they still can't prevent internal organs. The body stops nearly instantaneously. However, the internal organs compress against the rib cage and at a 50 mph to instant 0 mph collision the chances of mass internal hemorrhaging is high.

Edit: After seeing pictures from the other news site this guy didn't stand a chance. Hope the couple in the SUV pull out of it in good health.

Agreed. Too often you don't see what you might hit while avoiding the animal. Better to hit the animal and take some damage to your vehicle than to over react and steer your vehicle into a more dangerous obstacle or in this case another person.
