Big Government : In Smith and Wesson We Trust (and It Looks Like Santa Does Too)

You could always load that M29 with .44specials. CCI Blazers with a 200gr Gold dot HP is what I use.

Big Hollywood : 'Sons of Guns' Weapons Expert Will Hayden: My 'Undying Gratitude' for the U.S. Military

If you pay attention at all, they almost always mention the "paper work" in one way or another. Red Jacket HAS the necessary licenses to manufacture or modify firearms as seen. Is some of the show B.S.? Absolutely, it's a "reality" show. Is Will B.S.? no.

Big Hollywood : Product Placement Gone Wild!

Eureka is the same way. The characters talk a lot about thier cars. Dirty Jobs seem to find reasons to show off the features of their Ford pick-up, too. AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE BETWEEN GUNS!?!? :)

Big Hollywood : Liberal Hollywood Shortchanges Actresses

I totally agree on actresses. Look how Transformers HAS replaced Megan Fox. You want a real woman; you need to look back in time. Showing my age, I'm going to remember Roy Rogers' wife for life, Dale Evans. Instead of standing around screaming whenever there was trouble, SHE could be found charging in, guns blazing!

I have to agree with KristineFromNYC. I got interested for about five seconds, but when they announced Billy Ray Jackass, I lost ANY desire to watch. Never liked him, never liked "Achy Breaky...".

I heard that they had to stop having a nightly fireworks display there. It was said that the local French Garrison kept coming over to surrender!

Big Hollywood : 2011 Best Picture Nomination Countdown: #6 – ‘True Grit'

I was excited to see this offering DESPITE Matt Damon and Josh Brolin. I tried to seperate the original from this one, and was largely able to do so. It was still only an Okay movie. The defining difference, for me, was the shootout with Ned Pepper and gang. When Jeff Bridges says "Fill your hand you S.O.B.", it comes off as more of an insult than anything else. When The Duke shouts it, It's a challenge!

Believe me Hoosier, I'm the same way. I will stop watching a T.V. series I like if they go that way. I just never got that "feel" from The Destroyer.

There wasn't so much an anti-gun attitude, but as you state, not much need for guns. In one of the books, a master assasin had learned to shoot in Sinanju. Not from Chuin, he was away, but from a child! EVERYBODY in Sinanju could shoot. In another, Chuin shoots a helicopter out of the sky, with a 1911!

In Arizona, one can carry in a bar or resturant that serves alchohol as long as he has a CCW, and is NOT drinking.

Tom Brokeback should be afraid. When I used to frequent bars, most of the time when a trouble maker started up, he was...... removed by the patrons. In a few short sentences, Tom has managed to show just how deep his ignoance runs. “In Arizona they have a wide open system. I would be nervous about going into a bar or restaurant in Arizona on a Saturday night where people can carry concealed without permits.” Arizona has to follow the same firearms regulations as the rest of the country. Meaning background checks, Form 4413, (federal form for purchasing a firearm from a FFL dealer), etc. Now, yes, one can carry a concealed firearm without a permit, but NOT IN BARS, or anywhere else alcohol is served. IF one has a CCW, one may carry in a bar, but NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL!! The only thing that comes close to "Wide open" is the fact that we can carry openly. And that tends to scare NOT the general populace, but the people who would do them harm.
