IAMfourzerotwo : Noah Heller - Stop Doing Interviews...

- I'll tell you why... because of the quotes that Bob listed in his rant, err... I mean story above ;-) My brother, who only plays COD when I visit over the holidays to get his annual MP asswhooping could more accurately depict how the bolts behave in each subsequent title of the franchise. But he wouldn't talk about them, why... because he would be talking about World at War - which is ultimately what Noah Heller should have been doing. - Lastly, this HAS to be the most inaccurate statement I have EVER read, “In the previous Call of Duty's it might take three or four shots from a bolt action rifle,” he explained. “We made sure that a single shot centre mass would kill that opponent because that’s the expectation of the player.” (Please note: this post does not reflect the feelings or opinions of Treyarch Studios, Infinity Ward, & Activision)

- This is not the first time Noah Heller has put his foot in his mouth, alongside Rich Farrelly (Treyarch) in an interview he decided to blatantly bash the BiA Franchise and Development team – total low blow. Again, please see above… since Day 1 Treyarch Studios has been fighting an uphill battle in the arena of Public Opinion, mostly due to COD3. Noah made those comments less than a month after the WaW announcement, while they were fighting that stigma and trying to drive POSITIVE community growth, public opinion, and ultimately WaW awareness – all he accomplished was setting them back, driving negativity, and providing additional ammunition to their adversaries. You didn’t see Noah in any subsequent interviews, he wasn’t in Germany for the GGC… ever wonder why?

To take Bob's side on this, you have to understand the backstory, which perhaps I can illustrate a bit having met Noah and most of the Treyarch team: - They (being IW, Trey, ATVI) don't want, nor should they want WaW to be constantly compared to COD4:MW - It's a stand alone title and should be treated as such. Of course references are necessary at times, but they need to promote the current title. - Treyarch since day 1 has been fighting an uphill battle when it comes to Public Opinion, one huge facet of this topic is the inevitable comparison to IW. Far too many conversations about WaW lead to a Treyarch versus IW discussion/debate, in my opinion... Senor Producers at Activision should not feed that nonsense, which in fact "feeds the trolls." World at War is NOT about Treyarch versus Infinity Ward... it's about World at Fucking War!
